Eva weds in civil ceremony

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker wed in a civil ceremony at Paris's city hall today, a day ahead of their lavish church wedding and reception. "They are married. They were married here by the mayor of Paris, Monsieur Bertrand Delanoe," a spokesperson for the city said. The ceremony, required by French law, was attended by only a few friends and family members. Earlier in the day, the Desperate Housewife star and her family dropped by Chanel for a final fitting before being driven to city hall. Longoria wore a rose Empire-waist minidress for the service. About 250 guests are expected for the couple's church wedding and reception tomorrow, including Teri Hatcher, Nicolette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman, Jessica Alba, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones.
