Charlize to be honored by Harvard

Oscars are one thing, but Charlize Theron and Christopher Walken will soon have something equally golden for their mantles: Hasty Pudding pots. The annual Harvard trophies, awarded to those who've made a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment," are dispensed by the university's Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation's oldest undergraduate drama troupe. The ceremony traditionally involves a parade and male students dressed as women. The recipients last year were Ben Stiller and Scarlett Johansson, preceded in 2006 by Halle Berrry and Richard Gere. This year, Monster Oscar winner Theron, 32, gets her Pudding pot (as the prize is called) Feb. 7; Walken, 64, whose Oscar was for The Deer Hunter and who last year was married to John Travolta (in Hairspray), gets his Feb. 15. Not to be outdone, Harvard Lampoon's "Hastiest Pudding of the Lampoon Award" is being given out on Feb. 6, to Paris Hilton, reports the Associated Press.
