Aisha Tyler was born in San Francisco, California on Sept. 18th 1970.


When Aisha Tyler was in high school she would normally skip class to take improv classes.

But even with all her missed classes Aisha Tyler got into Dartmouth (she got a B.S in environmental policy) At Dartmouth Aisha Tyler join the co-ed frat Phi Zeta Mu (also known as The Tabard) and co-founded The Dartmouth Rockapellas, a female a cappella group.

Aisha Tyler stand-up comedy career started to kick up in the mid 90's, when she became well known enough to do tours and quit her day job in advertising.

around this time Aisha Tyler started to get into acting with a number of small roles in such shows and made for TV movies as Nash Bridges, Grand Avenue, and the Pretenders.

But it was in 2001 when Aisha Tyler became the host of the E! show Talk Soup when Aisha Tyler step onto the national stage. Aisha Tayler was also one of the shows writers.

in 2003, Aisha Tyler became the first (and only) recurring African-American actor on Friends.

Aisha Tyler has had roles on such shows as 24, Ghost Whisper, CSI, and the Boondocks. in 04 Aisha Tyler had done a pilot for a show that didn't air.

Aisha Tyler also acted in a number of films, such as Dancing in September, Santa Claus 2 & 3, Black Water Transit, Balls of Fury, Meet Market, and Never Die Alone.
