Jully Black




singer-songwriter Jully Black was born in Jane and Finch section of Toronto Canada on November 8th 1977 with the birth name of Jully Ann Inderia Gordon.

Jully Black started her career in 95. Jully Black guess starred for songs as such artist as Kardinal Offishall and Choclair in the early days of her career she also wrote songs for such artist as Missy Elliot, Sean Paul, Destiny's Child and Nas.


In 98 Jully Black released her first single Rally'n which became a top 40 hit in Canada. From 2000 to 2002 Jully Black released singles that would be a part of her first album I travelled which was released in 2003.

In 2005 Jully Black released her second album This is Me, which even though didn't sell a lot copies was (at least going by reports) an album that was heavily bootlegged online (some estimate that it was down loaded 2.8 million times)



2007 was when Jully Black released the album Revival, which had Jully's first top 10 single Seven day fool. In 2009 Jully Black released the album Black Book.

Besides her music career Jully Black is also a TV host. Jully host CTV's etalk and was part of the cast of Canadian Idol where she short of a mentor/couch to the contestants on the show.
