Sunday evening will mark Katie Holmes's final performance in the Broadway play All My Sons after a run of four months. Can you believe she has been gracing NYC for that long already! And she NEVER once missed a performance! It will be sad to see her go, especially without our daily dose of cutie Suri. A Night At The Met
So, last night, major happenings in NYC! The Costume Institute Gala brought out many an A-lister to The Met and I just happened to be eyeing the red carpet as the stars were arriving. And by happened to be there, I mean I walked by on my way home and was across the street, stuck behind paparazzi and other ecstatic, not to mention screaming and waving (yes I waved) fans like myself. Although I didn't get a chance to see my love George Clooney (so upset!), I did show up just in time to catch a glimpse of actual superheroes welcoming guests at the bottom of The Met stairs, Mr. Big, Jason Lewis (hard to believe, but even more good-looking in person) the Beckhams, Tom and Katie, J.Lo, MKO (oh sorry, aka my abbreviation for Mary-Kate Olsen, who I'm sure just loved hearing my shout out to her and her sister), Mr. Lagerfeld himself, Blake Lively (so excited to see Serena considering I was missing Monday's ep. of Gossip Girl to star gaze), Valentino, Bonjovi, Eva Longoria and the list goes on.Nicest/biggest smiles/longest waves to the crowd - J.Lo, Valentino and Tom Cruise (maybe it was just an act considering all of his bad publicity lately, but he did look genuinely nice)

So there was a little baby(literally) rumor going around that Katie may be pregnant with TomKat #2. Well one of Katie's rep would like to set the record straight that she is not.

Perhaps Suri Cruise will be an entertainer after all. Not only is the 21-month-old a fan of the Spice Girls, she also digs American Idol. Mom Katie Holmes — who is getting panned by critics for her latest comedy Mad Money — revealed the scoop on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show this morning. When Seacrest said he could hook the Cruise clan up with some tickets, the soft-spoken Holmes said, “I would be very grateful.” Holmes, who made several TV appearances this week, gushed (some more) about Tom Cruise. “I married the biggest movie star in the world,” she said. Holmes said she wants to have another baby, but “not in the immediate future. Long term, of course.” For now she has her hands full with Suri, who is “is growing and talking more. I am constantly surprised and challenged.” Holmes also talked about her friends, the Beckhams. She called Victoria “very sexy.” When asked about her thoughts on David’s good looks, she laughed and said, “He’s such a … nice man. He’s very good at what he does!”Katie's acting panned by critics
Kate Holmes is getting harsh reactions from critics in her first return to the big screen since wedding Tom Cruise and welcoming daughter Suri. “And the cinematic comeback of the year award goes to…somebody other than Katie Holmes,” says a New York Post critic, who calls her new heist comedy Mad Money, co-starring Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton, “the most cringe-making return since Love Boat: The Next Wave. “Holmes, with Alice Cooper hair and crazy Jim Carrey eyes, looks terrible and acts worse, unless this movie is unintentionally a lobotomy documentary,” the reviewer writes. “Whatever could have happened to her in the last couple of years to zap the talent out of her like this?” The New York Times says Holmes is “the movie’s weakest link.” Variety adds that throughout the film “Holmes is awkwardly upsetting the balance” between Latifah and Keaton.“Their heist is only the pretext for jinks that range from medium high (as played out by Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton) to painfully low (as perpetrated by Katie Holmes, who pops her eyes, scrunches her nose and shakes her booty in lieu of acting),” writes the Wall Street Journal. Holmes, who seems to have changed a lot since her early days based on her talk show appearances this week, also recently got flak for some questionable style moves in NYC.Press go easy on Katie
ABC suits were red-faced yesterday after Katie Holmes was interviewed on "Good Morning America" without being asked about claims that her baby, Suri, was created with the sperm of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, not hubby Tom Cruise. "GMA" host Diane Sawyer asked Holmes only inoffensive, softball questions about her hair, her clothes, her baby and her new movie, "Mad Money." Incredibly, she never even brought up Andrew Morton's controversial new book, "Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography" - which has set off a worldwide buzz and has the superstar going ballistic and threatening a massive lawsuit. Last night, the network was in full damage-control, trying to say its coverage wasn't a whitewash. "GMA" executive producer Jim Murphy insisted there was no agreement to avoid the touchy subject. He told The Post's Don Kaplan he'd planned for the segment to delve into the personal lives of Cruise and Holmes, but after nearly eight minutes of light banter, didn't know when Sawyer was going to get to it and called for the segment to end. "It was one of those bad calls on my part," Murphy said. "Diane doesn't generally get angry, but was she disappointed in how I handled it, yes." Murphy said Sawyer was going to get into personal issues but, "[she] was looking for the right place to do that. She knew we wanted to be fair and deal with [Holmes' new] movie and she wanted to talk about her life because Diane likes to produce a well-produced segment and bring something special to it when you get somebody that you don't see often on live television - but we had a time issue." But although the allegations in the Morton book have been widely reported around the world, Murphy said "GMA" still would not have mentioned the tome because it has been widely criticized over the quality of its journalism. "A lot of innuendo and gossip in that book is reported as fact," he said. Holmes was also interviewed yesterday on the syndicated show "Live With Regis and Kelly," where there was similarly no mention of the book.
Katie says Nicole's pregnancy is "wonderful"
Tom Cruise escorted Katie Holmes – in a dazzling strapless Armani dress – to her premiere, but made sure not to steal the spotlight from his wife. Instead he let her work the press solo while he walked across the street to sign autographs and take photos with fans. The actor was similarly supportive during the making of Mad Money, Holmes said. "Having [20-month-old daughter] Suri and Tom [on set] was wonderful," she added. "You think you love to do something and then you have the people you love there. It makes it a billion times better and you didn't realize you were missing that before. It's like 'Oh my God, life can be this good.'" Katie Holmes only had kind wishes for Nicole Kidman. "I'm so happy for her," Holmes, 29, says of Kidman's pregnancy news. "It's wonderful." Kidman, 40, confirmed earlier this week that she and husband Keith Urban are expecting their first child together. Katie Holmes gushes that husband Tom Cruise is a "great father and husband" and says his two children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman are "incredible, really smart and kind." "They call me 'Mom'," Holmes says in this week's Parade Magazine of Cruise's first two children, Isabella, who turns 15 this month, and Connor, 12. (Ouch - their mom Nicole Kidman recently revealed that they don't even call her mom.) The 29-year-old actress says she's looking forward to spending the holidays cooking and skiing in Telluride, Colo., with Cruise, their baby daughter Suri, and both sides of the big family. "Last year was Suri's first Christmas. It was so spectacular to share the holidays with her," she says. "It really meant the world to me. To be able to create a tradition for your children is one of the best gifts you can have." Her one-year marriage to Cruise, she says, is another gift. "Oh, we have so much fun," she says. "Tom has introduced me to so many new experiences. I have done things I never thought I would do, like climbing mountains and flying in the P-51. That's what is so inspiring about being with him – constant thrills and joy." After taking a two-year hiatus from her acting career, Holmes stars in the upcoming film Mad Money with Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah. She says the three of them had a blast: "We got our morning female talk in the trailer every day." She tells Parade that Tom was very excited for her to do the movie, and that he loved hearing all the stories. Katie Holmes opens up about her one-year marriage to Tom Cruise in January's InStyle mag, revealing his biggest turn-on. "Tom likes me in a suit and a mini every now and then. I like it when he likes it. It makes me blush," she told the mag. "He'll say, 'You look good. I hope security's going with you.' Now that gives me attitude." Holmes, 28, said they would "love to" have more kids, but " I'm in no particular rush." When Suri was born in 2006, Cruise, 43, was "by my side the whole time," Holmes said. "I couldn't have asked for a more supportive human being. He had the room ready, candles everywhere, pictures in frames. It was very homey and beautiful." How is their daughter doing at 20 months? "Suri is talking up a storm, running around, so aware," Holmes says. "She loves coloring and creating. She's a great mimic and dancer. She came to the photo shoot and was all into the shoes." Holmes also revealed that she fell in love with Cruise "in an instant." "I still get like that, 'Whew.' When you fall in love, it's as though time stops," she said. "It's all-encompassing. "I try every day to let him know how much I love him," she added. "It gets better and better. It has made my life... Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have found one way to spice up their marriage – turning out for a second Spice Girls show, this one Sunday night in Las Vegas. "They can't seem to get enough of our girls!" the band wrote on their website on Monday. Last Thursday, Tomkat, who are friends with Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham), watched the reunited British divas' concert at L.A.'s Staples Center. They were spotted in a private box with daughter Suri, Victoria's husband David Beckham, and the Beckhams' sons. Three nights later, the Cruises were at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Hotel, where David Beckham joined them in their VIP skybox. After the show, the two couples feasted on stone crab and Kobe beef at SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Hotel. "They were having an absolute blast," a witness reports.source

Katie Holmes showed off a new bob while accompanying her husband Tom Cruise at the 59th annual Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany, Thursday. Cruise won an award for his willingness to take risks in his films, including his latest flick, Valkyrie, which centers on the failed Operation Valkyrie to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

The Spice Girls had some surprise visitors at rehearsals in LA recently when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes along with baby Suri stopped by to wish them luck for the forthcoming tour. Cruise and Holmes enjoyed an impromptu audience with the girls and were treated to an exclusive performance, while Suri danced along to the music. "David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie," Victoria Beckham said afterwards. "It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise. The tradition for runners the day before a big race is to have a pasta dinner. But last Saturday, marathoner Katie Holmes was focused on throwing a tea party for her 18-month-old daughter Suri. Holmes and husband Tom Cruise held the party inside the Carlyle Hotel's Bemelman's Bar, which is decorated with artwork from the Madeline series of children's books. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., about 10 kids and 15 adults enjoyed mini burgers, chicken fingers, mac and cheese, french fries, cookies, and strawberries, and danced to kids' songs played on the piano. "Suri and her friends had a Madeline tea," an observer said, and she was "running around and dancing and playing with friends."
